Beatriz Morales is featured on the cover of “Die Kunst”, the art supplement of Germany’s largest economic magazine CAPITAL, with a print circulation of 130.000 (CAPITAL issue May 2019). Inside the magazine is a double-page spread on Beatriz, alongside interviews with Monika Sprüth and Philomene Magers of Sprüth Magers and a cover story on women in the art world. Galería Drexel, Monterey (MX) presents work by Beatriz Morales at Dallas Art Fair 2019.
Beatriz Morales has just confirmed the cooperation with Drexel Gallery, Monterrey, Mexico. The gallery will mount a solo exhibition of recent works in October 2019. Details TBC.
On February 8, 2018, I will join a panel of artists presenting new work at the auditorium of Sursok Museum, Beirut, the city’s major contemporary art museum. I will describe new techniques and research involving local materials, and discuss the opportunities and challenges of working as a pictorial artist in the 21st century.

During the same weekend, February 7-11, I will give my major art fair debut at Zona Maco, Mexico City, the largest art fair in Latin America. In Collaboration with Galeria Obra Negra I will be showing new works at booth NP50 in the section Nuevas Propuestas ('New Proposals'). The exhibition is curated by Michel Blancsubé.

Galeria Obra Negra presents Beatriz Morales in the 'Nuevas Propuestas' ('New Proposals') section at the 2018 edition of Zona Maco art fair in Mexico City.
Beatriz Morales was selected as artist in residence by the Beirut Art Residency programme. Over a span of six weeks in January and February 2018, Morales will create work on site in Lebanon, Beirut, followed by an exhibition in situ.
Beatriz Morales is now represented in Mexico by Galeria Obra Negra, Mexico City. The first joint project will be a solo exhibition at Gallery Weekend Mexico City, starting on September 21st, 2017. The exhibition at Obra Negra runs from September 21 - November 9, 2017. It is our great pleasure to announce that the exhibition will be curated by Michel Blancsubé.
